Ben's Story

I hope my friends and even those that weren't remember me as a fun and caring person. I was always there for those who needed me and never once asked for anything in return. I know I had a dark personality for most of my high school years, but I feel I was forced into that position when nobody took the time to get to know me. I always wanted to be a Musician when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a bad idea. As it turns out, they were right. I am an avid billiards fanatic. Just put me in front of a pool table and I'll be fine. The wildest thing I ever did in school is probably something I should not share,so I won't. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have cigarettes, toothpicks, and music(if possible) to be able to deal with the day-to-day. I don't really have a specific hero. Each person that I have allowed to become closer to me has their heroic qualities and individual heroic moments. I have lived in Yorkville, Aurora and Montgomery since high school. Just needed a change from where I was for one reason or another. Now ready to move back to Yorkville for probably a more permanent stay. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is John Flud, because he is my father and I never really had the chance to mend the bond that was broken years before he passed away. I would of liked him to be able to get to know his grandson and daughter-in-law. Not really obsessed with anything in particular except maybe shooting pool. My biggest surprise is pro...Expand for more
bably the birth of my son and more recently the new pregnancy of my wife. Never really planned them they just happened a little before I was prepared for them. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the master bed&bath and add on a bigger addition. My dream home would be a mansion I guess. Just something with a lot of bedrooms and space for me to do what I need to do in privacy for once would be fantastic. I have learned from my son that I must have been a handful when I was growing up. If I won $100 million, I'd give half of it to my son for his future, then spend the rest on a new car(s), a dream home and a whole new wardrobe. To be truly happy I would have to be living in Ireland or Italy with my family, living with no worries and no need for any of us to work again. My career aspiration is to be a business owner within the next 3 years. My best friend would tell you I'm too nice, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as quiet. I have plenty of billiard trophies on my mantle and on my wall. I just love the game and the people I meet doing it. If I had one do-over I would have to say I would do all of my schooling over again. Had I payed more attention I would of had a better education and probably could have kicked my career goals into high gear faster. Probably the thing(s) that would surprise everyone at my high school is that I am married with one son and another child on the way. I didn't really give off the impression as a family man did I now?
