Benjamin's Story
Life
I'm living with my wife and son out in Mendham, N.J., just west of Morristown. We're enjoying a countryish lifestyle in a historic house built in 1760. There's plenty of open space to enjoy out here. I survived the recent downsizing and continue to work at The Star-Ledger in Newark as a copy editor, specializing in page layout and working on the news and feature sections. column for the Parental Guidance blog at Nj.Com, the website of The Star-Ledger. I've also been known to write rock music reviews for the Ledger. I've been married since 1997 to Valerie Lentz Horowitz, who also grew up in Montclair, N.J., and also graduated from Montclair High. Our son, Ian, is 10 and is a fourth-grader at Mendham Township Elementary School. (This was updated in December 2008).
