Bernard is from Spartanburg, South Carolina. Bernard's schools include Geer-Gantt High School , Lincoln Institution of Technology . Drafted into Armed Services , Retired from the United States Army Reserves ( 13years Combat Chemical Operations and Decontamination , 7 years National Guard Voice Communication Specialist 3 years Draft / Enlisted . Bernard , later attended Voorhees College, Denmark, SC. Gainfully Employed by TrueTemper ( lawn and garden tool Mfg.) later Employment was with Hitachi Electronic Devices ( Picture Tube ) Quality Assurance Testing Coordinator. Meanwhile , I remarried to a loving young lady from Spartanburg which has lasted 26 years, We learned to play Golf and today 26 years later we still enjoy the competitiveness of the game , Wanda went on to become Ladies Club Champion of three Golf Courses we once were members , her skills were tested on The Ladies LPGA Futures Tour as well , Her caddie’s name was You guested it J...Expand for more
. Bernard Green 😉 . We tremendously enjoyed playing with , us know as the Chitterlings Golf Tour, better known then as the ( IGA ) Interstate Golf Association, which encompassed 4 Local States on the East Coast . As for my golfing abilities, I played a lot and place okay in numerous events on the circuit. I experienced the heat of playing on a Senior Tour for a few months in 1996 , which he experiences was great . Later , in 2007 I begin employment at Dish Network Spartanburg facility in the Area of Fabrication Engineers (Smart Test Equipment Fabrication. ) In 2013 , upon reaching retirement, I ended my Employment there . A few years passed , whereas I continued my part time Lawn Care Service ( Cut andTrim residential and Commercial Services) which I owned and operated for many years . my stepdaughters found me an opportunity with the City of Spartanburg Parking Service , So now I am Happily Semi-Retired Spartanburg S.C..
