Beth's Story
Life
Let's see...I was born and raised in Colorado Springs. I lived in the house that my parents moved in to when Mother was pregnant with me until I was 22. I got married at the age of 31 to someone in the Coast Guard. That led me to live in California for about 3 years, Hawaii for 3 years, and Virginia for 3 years.
While living in Hawaii I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I have survived it twice, and am now CURED! :D Going strong at 10 years out.
Left the husband and ran away to Tennessee, and while there fell in love with Renaissance Festivals. It did, however, bother me intensely that the clothing offered for sale there was not period accurate and did not come in sizes big enough for my "all" so I started my ow...Expand for more
n business specializing in hard to fit sizes and period clothing.
Sadly, this business is still growing and will not yet support me so I have to have a "real" job too.
Other than sewing and working I take care of my two furry kids, read like crazy, host a science fiction chat on AOL, and knit my brains out. Not an adventurous and exciting life, but one that keeps me happy and content.
I still haven't figured out why I was kept here, but I figure that when it's time God will let me know and if that includes another relationship for me it will come in His time. For now I just celebrate that I'm here everyday and take joy where I find it.
