Beth Baker Dixon:  

My parents, George and Sue Baker, are in the Southern Baptist music ministry (still!), leading choirs and worship services. The different churches they were called to work at determined where we lived. I was born in Atlanta, GA. Moved to Eldorado, AR when I was 3. Moved to Houston, TX in second grade (age 8). Loved going to school in Spring Branch school district from 2nd grade thru 9th (Shadow Oaks, Spring Oaks, Spring Woods). We then moved to Bolivar, Missouri (population at the time: 6,000). After moving from Texas to Missouri in 1974 the summer before my sophomore year (talk about "culture shock"), I graduated from Bolivar High School in 1977 (class size--111). While there, I met my husband, the love of my life and best friend...David Dixon. We were married in 1981, and we are more in love each year.
