Beth's Story
Well, I retired in 2012 after 37 years with the Government as a Federal Investigator, Trainer and Advisor. I must admit I had a blast, it didn't feel like 37 years, but it was time to go ... but got called back in 2013 2014 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 as a consultant, so I can say I worked there for 43 years .... so much has changed in work environments, work ethics and people's passion to do the job right and apply themselves. I taught Italian cooking part time for years, and also have my own catering business. I do private high-end catering for people in their homes, for up to 14 people.
I got married in 1980, but registered with Classmates under my maiden name. Hubby has his own plumbing business and is very busy. My eldest son is married and they have 1 chickadee lol. Son is a Chef who studied in Italy (the motherland) and has achieved ...Expand for more
public attention with fabulous reviews by some of the harshest critics in the industry and has competed on the Food Network. My daughter-in-law was a digital animator whose work has been credited on popular programs but Toronto’s animation business has shriveled up, she also has a small cake-baking business ... she is VERY talented, Now she’s working with TDSB, My youngest son was in law enforcement and he currently works in the trades. Safer than policing! He’s still involved in hockey. He has been a goalie since he was 8 years old. His wife is an ICU Nurse, and just awesome. They have 2 little chickadees. I am a Nana to 3 chickadees and just thrilled about it. Heading to Italy soon. Right now, life is good. I look forward to the next chapter ... but right now I gotta go check something in the kitchen ... as they say ...
