Beth's Story
I have been a nurse for 13 1/2 years now. I left the world of public education in 1994 and haven't looked back! I received my AD in Nursing in 1999 from Hocking College, and my BSN in 2003 from Ohio University.
I have been with the Dept. Veteran's Affairs every since 1995. I have worked in several areas at the VAMC-Chillicothe- 2 1/2 years in Acute Care and 6 years in SCU/Telemetry, then, 7 months...Expand for more
in the Gastroenterology Clinic. My present position is now within the Chief of Staff's Office as the facility's MRSA(methicillin staphylococcus aureus) Prevention Coordinator and Infection Preventionist. This new position has kept me very busy this past year with implementing this National program throughout our medical center.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my work and serving our nation's veteran's.
