Beth's schools include Nellie Custis Elementary School, Wakefield High School, Mooreland Elementary School, Gunston Middle School, St. Anthony School.
Music Beth likes includes Roy Orbison, The Beatles The Boxcars, Bill Emerson and Sweet Dixie. Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, James Taylor, Doobie Brothers.... I enjoy almost all of the music from the 60's and 70's, motown, classic rock, and Bluegrass, all types of music. Don't care for hip-hop or rap.
I am now retired from the phone company, started out as C&p Telephone, a baby bell company, then divestiture turned it into Bell Atlantic, then Verizon. I was a service and systems technician. see a lot of interesting homes. The last 8 years of my career I spent working at the federal side of the company and worked on Ft.Belvoir, and other government installations.
I married at 19, to a sailor, and we had two kids, a boy and a girl. That didn't last long, and I raised our children in Fredericksburg VA on a small farm. We had horses, sheep, chickens, peacocks, rabbits, dogs and a few cats.
After our 20th reunion I started dating our classmate Brett Sarkissian, and we married we were 40. Both of my kids were "adults" and on their own. It's hard to believe that was nearly 20 years ago.
I breed Japanese Bobtails, a domestic cat from Japan (of course), sew, and bum around the house these days. I still enjoy outdoor activities like camping, biking, swimming. Life is good!
