Beth's Story
After I graduated high school I started going to Western Piedmont but really didn't know what I wanted to do. I got a job at Frye Regional working in Radiology and that set my sights on the medical field. Got all the way up to the Nursing Program but dropped out because it was so overwhelming and to this day I regret that. Along the way I met Dustin in one of my english classes, he went to East Burke and graduated in 2000 also. We started dating in 2001 and got married in 2005. Program 4 days after our first son Ryan was born in 2005. Our second son Aiden was born in 2007. I quit my job at Frye after Ryan was born and for the past 5 years I've been a stay at home mom. I worked one Christmas at Bath and Body works but that's about it. Aiden is almost 3 and Ryan starts kindergarten in the fall at Glen Alpine which is where I went back in 1987, that seems such a long time ago lol. I'm anxious to get back to school now and get a job. I've been lucky to stay home with my babies though.
