elano High School in1964 and attended Bakersfield College before moving to the San Francisco Bay area in 1965. He was drafted in 1967 and served 12 months in Vietnam from April 1968 to April 1969. His wife Beth Ramseyer Whitworth was born in Ontario, Canada and lived in Massachusetts and Michigan before moving to Aberdeen Washington where she attended Weatherwax High School. She then moved to Concord , California where she graduated from Mt. Diablo High School in 1967. Bob and Beth were married in Concord, May1969.
