Bethany is from Carrollton, Georgia. Bethany later attended West Central Technical College, West Central Technical College (Radiology Technology) , University of West Georgia (Undergrad) . Bethany works(ed) at Tanner Medical Center, Tanner Health System, Tanner Medical Center. Bethany's interests include Celebs. Music Bethany likes includes LaughingPizza, Sam Tsui. TV shows Bethany likes include Humf, Peppa Pig, Grey's Anatomy. One of Bethany's favorite quotes is:"Passion without character is just excitement- Josh Hildebrandt". More about Bethany:"I have an identity in many areas-Christian, daughter, sister, RAD tech...I am a wife and mother most often- both give me great pleasure, but not without hard work. My daughter has cerebral palsy from difficulty during birth (don't worry, I wasn't exactly sure what CP was either until I had to learn how to live with it). CP is a brain injury that affects your physical, and sometimes mental, abilities. Kaylee is extremely smart, but cannot speak-she uses sign language, gestures, and a few sounds to communicate-she's progressing though. Her motor delay is where the most difficulties are found. Although she is 5 years old, Kaylee uses a wheelchair and several other types of medical equipment and devices to sit, play, and eat in. Her only method of mobility is rolling and modified crawling. My husband, Josh, and I feed her, and wipe drool, still change her diaper, and pretty much do everything for her-now that's a full time job! Josh and I have truly had to reinvent what we see as our lives and future to accommodate the unexpected turn for our family. Relying on God isn't always easy (I won't lie) however, we find Him to be the only answer. We take one day at a time and love every minute. Even if she never progresses anymore, I wi...Expand for more
ll still praise Jesus...He is sovereign and good...what was meant for evil He will make for good and; therefore, I give Him glory. We adore our little girl...there are so many things in life that we would have continued to take for granted and look over if we had not been given such a blessing. I remember the first time I ever saw Kaylee "splash" in the bathtub...she was about 9 months old and her "splash" was no more than a movement of her hand in the water, but I was bawling! I know most parents may have never noticed that milestone for their child (and that would be expected) since they grow up and learn new things so quickly, but I find joy in being able to see and praise her for every tiny thing. I know Kaylee is going to do wonderful things in her life...she already touches people more than I may ever be able to. I have faith that she will one day be able to walk...that is my confession....that my daughter would walk and talk....not because she has to do those things to be effective for Christ, but because I believe that she CAN do it and DESERVES to do it! If you are reading this and you have children or other young ones close to you...please answer all the silly, annoying questions they ask-I've never HEARD my child ask a question with spoken words....enjoy the times when they climb into bed with you-my little girl can't get OUT of bed...dance with them when they ask-I hold my little girl in my arms as I dance with her although she wears a tutu and wishes she could DANCE on her own...and just when you think your kids are gonna make you go crazy-be glad they are who they are and LOVE them. Please take time to look at some of Kaylee's and our family's pictures. She is such a beautiful inspiration! I love her more than I ever imagined being able to love.".
