Betsy's Story
Life
I graduated from Freed-Hardeman University in December 1999 with an English Lit. degree. I moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma and I Started law school. I got married to a great guy named Blake Hesselrode on 12/29/2000 - I met him at FHU. He is a CIS major from Tennessee and he worked for E.D.S. in Tulsa. I took the Bar Exam in Nashville, TN in 2003 and passed (whew!!!) After a few moves, we ended up in Jackson, TN, where I am Associate General Counsel for Kirkland's, Inc. I enjoy cycling, running, and swimming. Blake and I are competing in the Memphis in May Mountain Bike Triathlon in May. We love cycling! We both finished our first big road race last year - the Bagels & Bluegrass Ride. It was so much fun. We are very involved in our church - Campbell Street Church of Christ. We have made great friends there and we are really enjoying worshipping and serving God there.
We have a Boston Terrier named Macy. She's great. I'd love to hear from my old friends. Take care!
