betty ann's Story
Hi my name is Betty Ann Penland but you would probably know me better as Ann Jackson I went to Ben Tillman Elementary from the first grade to the seventh grade then I graduated to Chicora High School. I also lived in George Legare Homes. What is my occupation well let's say I am a jack of all and as my dad would say a master of none. I tried the hamburger joint thing for a couple of years but that was not me. So I started putting inground pools I did that for about fifteen years. I really enjoyed that. d that. Then I became a painter and I painted until I became very sick. I am now disabled. Had cancer got radiation damage it's just one thing after another. But I am hanging on I'm sure the good Lord has me here for a reason. I am married to a guy that I use to baby sit in GLH. He lived next door to me he's name is Jimmy Penland. I have three children Annette is my oldest. Stephen is my second and my only son. Then there's Olivia my last. I have eight grandchildren and thee great grands. I love all of them so much.
