betty ann's Story

Hi my name is Betty Ann Penland but you would probably know me better as Ann Jackson I went to Ben Tillman Elementary from the first grade to the seventh grade then I graduated to Chicora High School. I also lived in George Legare Homes. What is my occupation well let's say I am a jack of all and as my dad would say a master of none. I tried the hamburger joint thing for a couple of years but that was not me. So I started putting inground pools I did that for about fifteen years. I really enjoyed that. d that. Then I became a painter and I painted until I became very sick. I am now disabled. Had cancer got radiation damage it's just one thing after another. But I am hanging on I'm sure the good Lord has me here for a reason. I am married to a guy that I use to baby sit in GLH. He lived next door to me he's name is Jimmy Penland. I have three children Annette is my oldest. Stephen is my second and my only son. Then there's Olivia my last. I have eight grandchildren and thee great grands. I love all of them so much. Well that's about it for my life story. Don't get out to much any more but would love to hear from some of you. May God Bless us all.
