Betty's Story
I met my husband my first year in college, and we have been married since 1983. We have two children - a daughter (and son-in-love) and a son, and two grandchildren. We also have two mixed breed dogs we lovingly refer to as "the girls."
Definitely enjoying empty nest.
My life is informed by my faith, with most of my activities happening through my church.

rity in the home of the Kansas Jayhawks. I have been on staff with my church since 1992.
When weather permits, I love to hike the local lake trails.
I love to travel when life allows. As part of a ladies hiking group, I hiked my first mountain in 2007 and was able to summit my first CO 14er in 2017. After taking on the lead/organizer role, the hike has expanded from Colorado to destinations within a days drive.
