Betty's Story

Seems a few years have passed since we graduated in 1948, gee 60 to be exact, wow! How cool is that, most of our classmates are still on the map and very much alive and well thank our Lord and Savior Jesus christ! Those of you who knew me then, I think remember me as a fun loving person, loved to dance, sing , and basically just have a great time always. I remain true to myself and still am a nut, love to laugh, joke , dance and sing, but my dancing partner is now in heaven dancing around with all the gorgeous angels I am sure, however I do not mind a bit because he will be in good shape when I arrive. Archie and I had five fabulous children, three boys, and two girls, now our tribe has grown and we have, five grandchildren, and four great granchildren, Archie only met the first three before he went to be with the Lord, but I know he's watching over all of them closely and smiling, as all of these children are amazing and so much like him. We were in the sporting goods business for a few years, and I owned a little art school, and taught art.I still paint and love every minute of it. My life is filled with fabulous friends, and more than anything, the most I have to boast about if I may, is my relationship with my Lord. I never knew it could be so real, and I have learne...Expand for more
d so much about Him and His Word, reading His Word is so stimulating and encouraging for me that there is not a mountain I fear to climb. Nothing is impossible with Him. I am sure this is not new to any of you, and all I wish to say is that May God Bless all those who may read this and know how much God loves us all! My oldest son is a minister in California, and doing well. My eldest daughter and youngest son are in business together in Finance. {they keep me in in tow with my finances.lol} My third son is in the entertainment business, and manages way too many bands and artists, but loves it.My youngest daughter is also in the entertainment business, and is a precussiionist, she travels all over the country and loves it too. so i can safely say, that in all, somehow, we are all serving God and we are where we are supposed to be. For me, that is a great feeling, everything,we have accomplished in this life, I owe it all to the Lord, and I will forever praise His Name! Love to all, and thank you for taking the time to read all my story, well maybe it is not all, but thank you. betty I always wanted to be a dancer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a o.k. idea. As it turns out, they were half right.. My favorite form of relaxing is reading, or painting.
