Betty Busby:  

Life I graduated in 1969 . First started Exeter high in my sophmore year after going to sandborn seminary in kingston for my freshman year. I dated chip mead off and on through my highschool years . I took psychology with Mr. Jenkins and was at home in art classes, which i took in all 4 yrs. of high school and 2 more years in college. Then changed to nursing because i wasn't convinced that i was original enough for an art major. Then i met a woman in the apt. below mine, who was a psychiatric technician and the thought of working with the mentally disabled of all different kinds was intriging . Also the fact that the years of schooling was only 2 instead of 4 to be an R.N. was much more to my liking. So here i am many years later still not bored with my job. I moved to california with my parents right after graduating, they were sick of all the snow and my mom's sister lived on Pomona at that time , so we all packed up and moved in for a month with them! I promptly got pregnant in that first year in california, the father took off for places unknown and I had to quickly grow up, along with my beautiful little girl, Jennifer. I married Steven Busby when I was 25 and Jen was 5. Steve has been her dad from the start and we never had any other children. But we do have three gorgeous grand children . Jen married David Crowl when she was 21 and he was 27. they both completed a couple of years of college but soon began a family . Shane is 14 this year and is a freshman in highschool , he is 5ft.11in. already and in very talented in music. He plays the saxophone in marching band and the base guitar in jazz band. Etiwanda high is the best music program around and took the sweepstakes in marching band and has been asked to play at the Montreaux jazz festival in Switzerland this year.
