Betty's Story
Had two children, raised three neighbor children whose mother was in a fatal accident. My husband had a band, played music around area. (After I taught him to play the guitar)
Worked at Springfield Twp PD prior to leaving Akron in 1975. Moved to Cheyenne, Wy, Worked at Cheyenne PD, then was a Municipal Court Clerk for one year. Moved to Colorado in 1976. Worked at Adms Co Sheriff Dept until I retired.in 1994. I retired as a Reserve Deputy Sheriff in 2005. Between 1998 and 2005, I worked at Westminster PD until 2005. Hubbie passed away in 2003. as a result of a fall at the bus co where he worked.
I miss some of the friends I had while in school. Shirley Leib is the only one I have had contact with since graduating. Haven't heard of any reunions except the 25 yr one.
The biggest thing going on in my life is going to the Car Collection Museum that my son is currator of. He restores and maintains cars for a well known author.
I live in a condo with my little dog and cat. Wake up each morning and say
"Today is the day the Lord has created, and I will rejoice within it."
