Life
FOR YOUR' INFO: I had 3 sisters and a brother go to Alameda and Grant before me...if anyone wants info on Jan, Sam, Gay, Marlene or Bev Brooks...you can come to me ! After years of modeling and acting (my acting company brought me to Hawaii at the tender age of 19) and I stayed to do stage and television for 6 years...I returned to Portland to run a modeling school and moved on to Seattle...married and divorced in Bellingham, WA...had kept a condo. on Maui for years and now, I live here permanently...and love it !!! Have always wondered about old class mates...please feel free to get in contact...ALOHA I'm back from Maui & now reside in Anacortes, WA for awhile! My middle sister, Sylvia Gay has passed away from cancer. My mother is 93 in Jan.'10 & very healthy! I am still recovering from turning 58 in August... do any of you feel like life is FLYING by??? in turn gave me 7 grand children... so, I am blessed but, feeling very OLD!!! HA HA! I was babysitting my "grand nieces" who are 13 year old twins & someone asked me if I was their mother so, I am feeling GREAT for today! Tomorrow may be another story! XOXO Bev
APRIL 2010
Life is still good. I had a wonderful getaway to Maui in March then, got to spend 3 days in Disneyland with ex, daughter & 3 grandchildren!!! WOW... that was an experience! I think I went on MORE rides than the kids... well, I KNOW I did!
Our spring in WA has been amazing (actually our winter was gorgeous!) and I am already starting on gardens & planter boxes on my seaside decks where all the sun hits. Mom has been sunbathing on the deck already so, IT MUST BE WARM!
I get my Golden retriever for the summer (ex comes with the deal...darn!) so, pray for me! ha ha!
