Beverley's Story
Where have the years gone? It is so hard to beleive that we are quickly becomming the "older generation"I. After graduation in '63 I attended bible school for a year and then went to Trinity Junior College. In '65 I was involved in a very seious car accident which ended my dreams of becomming a nurse. In '68 I married Bill Smyth who was stationed with the RCMP in Haney . In '70 we left the RCMP and moved back to Ontario, where Bill grew up. We settled in Cambridge. Bill retired from the Waterloo Regional Police Services and we are now enjoying our "retirement" How did we ever find time to work??? In the place of nursing I chose to train as a certified dental assistant (level II). I was fortunate enought to spend the last five years of my career teaching and administrating a dental assistant program in a local college.

children. Ryan, our son and his wife live in Antigonish Nova Scotia where Ryan has his own business and Yen teaches at St Francis Xavier U.. Our daughter Jillian teaches high school at Markham College in Peru Lima.. We encouraged our children to be independent and follow their dreams, but never did we give them permission to do it half way around the world :) They are happy and successful and come home to visit as often and they can.
We are involved in our church and enjoy spending time with our friends at the trailer park where we have our RV parked.
God has been good to us and we are blessed with good health, wonderful friends and a loving family. Unfortunately the car accident in 1965 affected my memory and I have limited memory of my last three years of high school, but if we were friends in school, I would love to hear from you.
