Beverly's Story
When last seen at GHS in May 1971, I was going back to Arizona to marry my boyfriend, Robert and become a mortician's wife... Well, that didn't happen. In June 1971, I started working at Valley National Bank - was there for five years and thru one short failed marriage. Left VNB in 1976 and married the father of my children Sam 1979 and Tommy 1983. Divorced in 1984 and started working for Arizona State University. Made a lot of good friends and also was lucky enough to work with my best friend, Peggy. I raised my children by myself while working at ASU for 25 years. I have one lovely granddaughter, Chloe 2002 from my son Sam and a handsome grandson, Cullyn 1997 from my son Tom's wife. s later on 2/14/2004 - at our age, why wait? We will be celebrating our 6th anniversary this next Sunday. He enjoys the things that I love to do, such as studying the Bible, reading, fishing, camping, 4 wheeling, spending time with good friends... We started looking for a pentecostal church, shortly after our marriage. After much searching, we found a congregation of Jews and Gentiles worshiping Yeshua - Jesus the Messiah - Beth Yachad Messianic Congregation in Phoenix, Arizona. Beth Yachad is associated with Assemblies of God. We have found the type of worship we have been looking for and feel very at home with our Mishpochah - family. I retired from ASU in May 2009 due to health issues and have been enjoying spending time with my husband, Sweet Ed.
So I am believer, wife, mother, daughter, friend, retired state worker... I am a lot more than that, but that I will save for those who I chat with.
