Beverly's Story
I am basically a very simple person. It doesn't take a lot to make me happy. The things I value in a person come from the heart, not the superficial things many base human worth on. I value time with family and friends increasingly more as I grow older and realize just how precious this is. I realize the importance of never leaving a loved one in anger, as you may never see them again. look my own mortality in the eye is why I have come to value the important things in life. A beautiful sunset can almost make be cry just from the sheer joy of being here to experience it. I hate mean-spirited people, cruelty, and bullying of any kind. Basically my list of things to love and appreciate is very long and my list of hate quite short. Life is a gift, and it is wasted on hate, grudges or bad feelings; and if you dwell on those things, you miss out on enjoyable moments you could have had. Live, love, laugh is the motto I choose to live by.
