Beverly's Story
after graduation I went to chabot college for awhile until I met and married my first husband. 14 years later I got divorced and married my friends brother. We've been married now for 24 years. No children but he has 4 from his first wife. We are retired now and living in tucson arizona where it is WARM right now!!!!
For the last 6 months or so we've been back and forth to livermore to remodel my parents house to sell for our inheritance, what a big job that has been. It will be up for sale soon, completely updated inside and out. Then we can get back to our traveling around the world and life in general. With this remodel I've learned alot of lessons both good and bad but I'm glad I did it. We have two cats ( my children) used to have 6. We have a peachface love bird and they all travel with us. Life is good and will be better soon...update...our peachface love bird passed away this past week, was a blessing as he had been ailing. The house has sold, we think, at least we have an offer for the listing, which means we will be leaving after it closes and get back to living our lives.....more later Bev 2017: update....we have been married now for 31 years!!! Gosh how time flies when you are having fun living your life. We have been to Europe 4 times, Alaska once but hardly have seen these united states. On my life list to travel around the states. Staying safe is a priority. We still ...Expand for more
split our time between Tucson and Moses Lake, Washington where the sister in law lives on 5 acres. I now have a horse and trailer that travels with us pulled by our class c rv motorhome. We plan next year to put a park model rv on our lot in Sequim Washington and live there in the summer. Life does take a turn when you least expect it....update....my beloved husband of 34 years passed away in icu in the va in tucson after only 2 weeks from lung disease. That was Oct 31 2019. Now it is Feb 2, 2021 and I am sitting in my motorhome in Sequim, WA waiting for repairs to happen on Friday. This can only happen to me.....I was driving my motorhome and pulled over to let cars pass and hit several deep potholes which dislodged my almost full poo tank and I dragged it to the next wide spot in the road. When I finally stopped the tank was sitting behind me about 5 feet away. This is not a normal situation and my road service couldn't help me. God sent an angel that took over, emptied the liquid and hoisted the tank up on my spare tire and tied it with my extension cord to the ladder. God is totally in control of my life. I am blessed every day with health and being safe in this pandemic. This new journey i am on is teaching me to be self reliant and at peace with my life without my husband. Only God knows what the future holds and I am learning to be content in all things. Until next time......
