Life
After looking at the pictures on the website, it just floors me how everyone looks the same yet older. I haven't left michigan at all. I have been married (and divorced) twice and won't plan on doing that again any time soon. In 1984 I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy.(Stephen) He'll be 20 this july(2004). Now THAT makes me feel my age. I have been employed at the Macomb County Sheriff Department for 15 years now and will retire in less than 10 years. Yes, i almost followed in my dads' footsteps but I would rather work inside and dodge a few verbal slams from the inmates than work outside and dodge bullets. onest, there are some people I miss from school...and some I still could care less for. My only regret from highschool is that I didn't have the courage or the wisdom to stand up for myself. It's amazing what Time and expierence can do for someone. With all that I have learned in the past 20 years, I have learned that you can't change others....you can only change yourself. AND NOW, In 2016, I have been retired for almost 2 years and living in the glorious Upper Peninsula! I would not change a thing about my life! Although, my son is now married and living almost 500 miles away, it gives them and myself a chance to "vacation" to see each other. Loving the retired life that I have earned!
