Gosh, I thought I had my bio and stuff in here already. Don't know what happened to it, but the news of 40th Reunion next year made me go searching and updating. Really glad some special Classmates are taking the initiative and creating an opportunity for all of us to get together again. Keep it up you wonderful angles!
Moved out to Seattle area 32 years ago after falling in love with the Northwest when visiting in summer of 75. It was a great move at the time, but after being here for as long as I have and tired of the gray, gray damp winters, I am ready to move to warmer climate. Which would also help with my winter time aliments, if you know what I mean. We aren't getting any younger, are we? Don't know when that is going to happen yet, but I know it will happen when it is suppose to.
I have one daughter, Allison, who is 38 now. When I turned 57 this year I found it hard to spit out her age and mine together. It just doesn't seem possible to reach the age we have reached. It seemed like such an ancient age to be when we were younger. However, I don't mind it all anymore. It is just another number.
I have been single for years now, seems like eons, but it has been by choice after relationships that just seemed to be taking me nowhere. So I decided to spend the last fe...Expand for more
w years working on me and getting to know what I am all about. I have never really been a person who liked to date and still feel that way. Now that I am ready to get back into it, the scene seems to be really different and I am not sure how I feel about that right now. I guess time will tell.
My career for 31 years has been in Real Estate. It has been pretty lean this last year. Finding out I am a Jack of all Trades and Master of None. So I have been testing the market for other things to do besides Real Estate. When you work for yourself all these years it is a challenge to think "regular". Besides our "wonderful" market, I think the RE gods are telling me it is time to find another career. That is my next challenge. Retirement of any kind is not for me. I am the kind of person who has to keep going.
Looking at the Story Wizard to help provide me with ideas to write about is a loose cannon. EEEEhhh gads, I could go on for ever being the Chatty Cathy I can sometimes be, so I won't get started. Too many great memories to talk about. Plenty of time to hash and rehash later.
That is it in a nutshell for me at this time. I am looking forward to our Reunion. It should be fun for all and I know the best of the best will be there!
God Bless to all.
Sincerely,
Bev (Miller) Roos
