Beverly's Story
My family moved to Medford from San Jose in 1969, we lived on Main Street at the time next to a bank. My sister Jean and brother Vernon and I attended Mid High until Jean and I came back to Texas in 1971. I'm retired now and don't remember the last names of some of our friends. he was the one who invited a few of us to her home in the mountain for a weekend or overnight. Then there was the twins with their thick red hair. The twins, my sister and I performed a dance routine in a talent show that my brother Vernon took 1st place, he played the Star Spangled Banner with his guitar, we took 2nd place. I can't leave out Kathy who was heavy and had short blonde hair, we made apple pies one weekend at her house.
