Beverly's Story
Life
I got married in 2005 and we moved to Mt Shasta at the same time. We live in Mt Shasta City and are building a home on 5 acres near Mt Shasta. It has been a year long and stressful process, but hopefully Bret, my husband, will finish by the end of Spring 2007. We're very excited!
Workplace
During and after college, I had been working seasonally in the field...Expand for more
of wildlife biology. I generally worked on projects that study birds. For 3 years I worked for the National Park Service, on the owl crew, which meant I will worked nights searching for owls. After we moved to Mt Shasta, I couldn't find any wildlife jobs. I took a job with Siskiyou County and am currently a Planning Technician in the Land Use Planning department.
