Beverly's Story
Life
Took nursing at Paradise Valley Hospital and graduated in 1963. Married Jim Wilhelm, a Physical Therapist, in 1961. Received a BA degree from Redlands University in 1975. Have 3 children Jeff is 42, Julie is 41 and James is 35. We have one 13 year old grandson, one 13 year old granddaughter, one 11 year old grandson and one 10 year old grandson. Riverside was our home base from 1964 - 2003. Moved to Visalia in 2003 to help care for my in-laws. My father-in-law passed away about 3 weeks after we arrived. We live with both of our mothers. re. My mom is almost 92, still doing well. I started raising Japanese Chin for fun almost 2 years ago. I have 5 babies at this time (6/25/07). That's it in a very small nutshell. My husband, Jim, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2008. His dementia progressed rapidly...he passed away in Sept of 2011 after suffering a fall that broke his nose and he aspirated blood and developed pneumonia.
On March 18, 2012 I married Denny Butler. We have known each other for 64 years. We both went to Dinuba Jr. Academy and Monterey Bay Academy. Our families were friends over the years.
