Bill's Story
I am now retired. Have been since 1998. Married since 1964 with 4 sons and 7 grandchildren. I retired from GTE/Verizon after 32 years in IT. Last 10 served as the Disaster Recovery Manager for Data centers and the backbone net.
I still enjoy the outdoors (hiking, fishing, hunting, photography, etc.) but my latest passion is woodworking. we have lived in Syracuse NY, Tampa and Tavares, Fl and now we live in Lyman, SC, near the SC/NC mountains. but before we bought our last t...Expand for more
wo homes, a wood shop was priority. This is my man-cave.
I traveled the world in the Air Force as a Russian Language spec. and we have enjoyed many cruises in the Carib. islands. (snorkeling and fishing 175 miles offshore.
Don't get to EC very much (every 10-15 years) no family there anymore.
Aside from a few medical problems, life has been great and I look forward to 30 more years. a/o this writing, I will be 102 in 30 years so please don't let me drool on myself toooooo much.
