Bill's Story
I chose C.W. Post because it looked great and I lived nearby. As I never went to high school, the first two years at Post were a challenge. I met a bunch of nice and interesting people there.
From Post, I went to Muncie Indiana driving the purple milk truck, and hauling the blue motorcycle and the blue 1950 Dodge. One and a half years later, left Ball State with a new MA in Psychology. The Dodge stayed in Muncie.
After a bit of wandering, the milk truck and our little group rolled into Arizona State U. Took a semester there and transferred to the U of Arizona and earned an Ed.D. in Rehabilitation. Sold the purple milk truck to an ice cream vendor. The blue motorcycle lasted quite a while.

to Scottsdale, Arizona. Great place. The almost wild west.
Worked as a detective for a while, but after an encounter with a bizarre person, changed occupations. I did not like the way a bullet mussed my hair.
Did vocational rehabilitation for 20 years. Fun job, helping persons with a disability to become employable. Then switched to writing. I have three novel length manuscripts finished. A bunch of my short stories are published. One of my favorites is, Relentless Love. If you Google that with my name, it will appear.
Athough I have a great memory, names always escaped me. I recall everyone who I knew at Post, but recall only a few names.
So far, life has been good to me. I hope it is the same for you.
