Bill's Story
Life
Where have all the years gone? Hard to believe that I'm over fifty!! Still working out all the time and still within 20 pounds of what I was when I graduated from High School.
Been back in El Dorado since July '07, life is good. I have had some luck putting together some new deals. My two daughters are doing great, the oldest in in her junior year at TCU and my youngest is a freshman at Texas A&M but planning on transfering to University of Texas in the fall. Anytime an old friend is in Arkansas, or for that matter around the area, drop me a line, the guest room is always ready.
Bigger News!!! - - > Quickly decided that a start-up wasn't an arena in which I thrive... Resigned from GSTV in June and returned to Murphy Oil in July '07. It was a great experience and I learned a lot about myself and about...Expand for more
start-ups. It coincided with the completion of my Masters Degree in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas, and my final case study was done on GSTV. Life is a journey, it is important to learn everyday.
Big News!! --> Moved to Detroit on March 3rd 2007...First time to live in the cold since 1977!
Left the safety of big oil and joined a start-up - - Gas Station TV, check us out at gstv.com.
Guess my life has taken some weird twists - Ohio, England, Texas, Florida, Texas, Washington DC, Pakistan, Cameroon, Texas, Florida, Texas, Arkansas, Detroit and now back to Arkansas, not bad for a minister's/school teacher's kid from Brockport.
Take care all, remember if you aren't where you want to be - - do something to get there. Life is too short to not take hold of your dreams and make them happen.
