Bill's Story
Life
Born in Chattanooga, TN. Moved to Charlotte, NC in 1962. Graduated from East in "63". Joined the US Navy in "64". Was a Sonar Technician 2nd Class on board a Destroyer (USS Forrest B. Royal). Finished my tour in the Navy in May of 1970 and stayed in Florida where I was Honorably discharged from the Navy. Became a Police Officer for the city of Orlando and remained ther...Expand for more
e for about 7 years. Later went to the Department of Justice as a United States Immigration Inspector. We eventually came under the umbrella of the Department of Homeland Security, they merged agencies, and I'm now with U.S. Customs & Border Protection. I moved off my houseboat in Florida and took a transfer. I now work in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada in Preclearance Inspections.
