Bill's Story
Life
I retired from Chevron on May 30, 2008 after forty years. I'm looking forward to playing more golf and doing the things I have worked all those years for. My wife and I are living in Discovery Bay in No. California. The saying here is "Live Where You Play, Discovery Bay." It's a little expensive here, but it's a great place to live. I bought a 1927 Ford Model "T" Tudor street rod as a retirement gift to myself. There's a couple of pictures of it in my albums. It's a lot of fun to work ...Expand for more
on and to drive. I also bowl twice a week, Monday and Wednesday mornings. The bowling team I was on for the winter 2013 league ended up winning the league championship. It was fun, and got a little money back too.
My mother is still alive and living in the house we lived in when I was going to PHS. She is 91 now, and still drives (God help us). Just kidding. I get down there whenever I can. I'm so busy I don't know how I had time for a job when I was working. Life is good. Hope yours is too.
