Bill's Story
Life: Born and early childhood in Huntington WV (grades 1-6) ... Lived in Arlington VA (grades 6-8), then to Camp Lejeune (Jacksonville, NC) and went to Lejeune schools (grades 9-12), graduating from CLHS in 1966 ... Lived on Main Base (MOQ-2913) summer before and all of 9th grade, then moved to Air Station (MCAS) for remainder of HS ... Played CLHS baseball and remember so many good times and friends ... Went to college at ODU for one semester then to ECU for rest of undergrad (1966-1970) and grad school (1972-1975) ... Have been in NC ...Expand for more
ever since - now residing in Raleigh ... Have attended most all of the Lejeune reunions, especially our class 20th (in 1986) and the (ALL Classes) reunions of 2000, 2005 & 2010.
Family: 2 wonderful daughters, Jennifer & Michelle, and 3 fabulous grand kids (from Michelle) - 2 granddaughters, Madigan & Olivia, and a grandson, Lucas ... Brothers: Bob Hawley (CLHS'68) is in Jacksonville (NC) and Dan Pearson (CLHS'69) is in Wilmington (NC) ... Parents retired in J'ville area and now reside near Topsail Island.
