Bill's Story
I left Warwick on August 26, 1980 and enlisted in the Army. I spent three years in Europe at a NATO Nuclear Weapons Storage facility as part of Nuclear Release Authentication Systems Team. When my military obligation ended I remained in Europe for 6 months and then moved to Vermont.
While in Vermont I attended the University of Vermont earning a BA in Economics and a BA in Political Science. After graduation I completed Officer Candidate School and returned to the Army as a Second Lieutenant. During the first Gulf War I was assigned to the OPFOR Unit at Fort Irwin, CA were I taught desert warfare for US Armored Forces.
In 1991 I moved back to Vermont and was the Sales and Marketing Director for a consumer credit bureau.

seasonal transient Not as bad as it sounds, winters in Vail, Colorado and summers on Nantucket Island.
In 1995 I took up long term residence on Nantucket where I worked in the hospitality field and construction. In 1999 I moved to San Jose, CA during the boom years of the Silicon Valley. I stayed in California until September 11, 2001 when I moved to Newburyport, MA. In February 2003 I returned to Nantucket where I was again involved in the construction industry. I left Nantucket in March of 2006 and currently reside in a beautiful little town in Northern California on the Monterey Bay not far from Pebble Beach.
I often refer to my Middle School and High School yearbooks with fond memories of friends and faces that I have wondered about and missed. To all who remember me I hope you are well.
