Bill's Story
What a long strange trip it's been.
Graduated in '65. Goofed off for a couple of years, then drafted (remember the draft?) in '68. Met my wife in NJ while I was in the Army. Spent 15 months in Okinawa, and then came back to marry her.
We moved back to KS in 1971, and I graduated from WSU in 1975 with a BSEE. Went to work for Texas Instruments in Dallas, and spent 23 years there -- till I was bought by Raytheon in 1997 and moved to Tucson AZ in 19...Expand for more
99. Michelle and I both still say we never dreamed that we'd end up in TX, but now we still think of it as home.
Finally had enough and retired at the end of 2006. Now spend a lot of time in the pool (with a tall rum cooler) or playing with my toys.
Had seen "classmates.com" but never stopped and looked till last night. Amazing how many folks are here -- I guess you all are a little quicker than me. Hope you all are well. maybe we'll see you later.
