Bill's Story
After graduating from Alter, I moved to Wisconsin and attended the University of Whitewater, just outside of Milwaukee, WI. That worked for a couple of years (cold!) so moved back to Dayton and went to UD for a year before getting into sales at Roberds(remember them?)in 1981.I got married in Dayton and was transferred to Tampa Florida in 1984. I have 4 children: Brittany-23, Taryn-22, Adam-20 and Haley-19. I divorced in 1995. Actually moved back to Dayton for a couple of years (1996 to 1998) and worked in a corporate capacity for Roberds before leaving the company to come back to Florida. I have worked for the past 10 years at an Appliance and Bedding retailer in Tampa (Famous Tate) and currently live in Odessa, just north of Tampa. We have 2.5 acres of land that incorporates a motorcycle track for us to have fun riding on (mostly me though!). Taryn, Haley and Kayla live with Gail and I, along with Aiden, our grandson. Both Brittany and Adam live on their own in Tampa (2 down, 3 to go!). Oh, we have a nasty old dog named Buddy that watches over all of us.
That's the story since Alter High School! A big family, plenty of drama. Work hard, play hard. Happy and content. Hard to ask for more...
