Billy's Story
Married-Father-Cop-Soldier
I am married, with two babies. One boy and one girl - luckily they look like their mom - they are just great. I live in the Dallas area I am a police officer. After school I went in the Army, I was a Combat Medic but found that my temperament is better suited for policework.
I solved a homicide once - on the side of a highway- and got the suspect to confess. I have always felt good about that. My worst night as a cop was when I was working undercover and the suspect tried to run me over with...Expand for more
his truck. He missed me, but ran my partner down! It was a tough night. My wife is a stay home mom. My favorite day of the year is Fathers Day.
I have recently decided to use my police experience to help our young soldiers who are assigned combat duty overseas and have accepted a re-enlistment as an Army MP (after a 17 year separation from my first Honorable Discharge). I am presently on my first combat tour in Iraq, but will return to my police job when my orders are satisfied. I wish you all well...drop me a line.
