Billy's Story
Life
I grew up in West Monroe, La. and went to Mitchell, Crosby Elementary, and West Monroe High School in the 1950's. (Older than dirt) Ha. I joined the U.S. Army in 1960, got out in 1964. Bummed around for a couple of years and moved to Long Beach, Calif. for a couple of years, worked at McDonald-Douglas Aircraft a couple of years. Met my wife while she was visiting relatives out there. (We are both from West Monroe, La. I never met her before tho. We moved to St. Francisville, La. for about 7 years and moved to Angleton, Texas. Went to work for Dow Ch...Expand for more
emical Co. and retired there. Had medical problems for several years. Kidney's failed and needed a transplant. Went on Dialysis for 1 year. My dear friend next door gave me a kidney and I will never forget her. I felt so good, that I went back to work as a Project Engineer for Bay LTD. Am working now in Shreveport, La. The job will last about 1 year and I will go on and retire. We have 4 children and 8 Grandchildren. That is about the story of my life. Have a little dog (Daushanud) Love to play guitar and sing some. Love camping out in our Motorhome.
