Bob's Story
Life
Hi: I'm happily living with my life partner since 1981, and together raising a son in one of those "alternate family" scenarios that keeps right wing Republicans awake at night. After I left the seminary in San Francisco, I spent a year in Italy, then moved to Seattle where I rentered the seminary. I stayed less than two years. Went to the Univ of WA and got a degree in art history.
I'm an AutoCAD computer draftsman and as a certified flight instructor at Galvin Flying Service at Boeing Field in Seattle. Had thought of becoming a pilot when I was at Serra, but, back then, commercial aviation would have been emotional suic...Expand for more
ide for a gay man, so I entered the seminary, which was also a form of emotional suicide, but I went to school with some amazingly funny and intelligent guys. That was then, this is now, and Bobby finally gets to fly nifty airplanes. The attached photo is of me with a young passenger on an Angel Flight mercy mission.
I'm having a wonderful time rediscovering childhood dreams (flying), making art, and living out a sweet family life I could never have imagined back in high school so many years ago.
