Now:

School:
Grades 1-7 in Encino, CA at St. Cyril's of Jerusalem Catholic School. Grades 8-12 in Gresham,OR at Pleasant Valley Grade and Centennial High. Great memories of those days, but I would't want to do them over again!!
College:
Career and family weighed heavily against continuing education for many years. Finally completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Management in 1990; some 26 years after high school. Glad I did it; glad it's over!
Workplace:
After time spent in the Marine Corps, I fooled around with several jobs and finally settled into the Portland Police Bureau from 1968 to 1981. Left there for the investment industry. Left there for the computer industry. Left there for the parking/traffic control industry. I then owned my own consulting business focusing on parking/traffic control systems. I started a small business called "Snowbird Services" in Prineville. It grew to include a new invention and several more services. In my spare time, I am a SCORE counselor to area small businesses.
Addendum: Fully retired as of Oct 31, 2012. Created a program called "Wandering & Wondering" and am in training as a "Professional Vacilando"... Much similar to "taking my toys outside to play" - retrogressing?!!! I've since moved to Kingman, AZ to enjoy all that the desert has to offer for one who Wanders!!
Military:
I joined the US Marine Corps in 1964, and was formally trained as a radio-telegrapher. Got subsequent training as an artillery/naval gunfire spotter and went to Viet Nam for 14 months serving with the 4th Battalion, 12th Marines in the "I" Corps area. Left active duty in 1967 to remain on inactive reserve status until 1971 when I enlisted in the Active Marine Reserve. I separated from the active reserve in 1981 having attained the rank of Staff Sergeant.
