Bob's Story
I attended Brookmont from 1960-62 while my father did a 2-year secondment at the British Embassy. I was the English kid in Mrs Scheid's class (2nd grade) and later Mrs Nicholls (3rd grade) class. I remember a lot of friends, in particular Matthew Whitcomb (older than me, his father was in the Army I think, he moved to W Va) and Mary Beth Ogilvie (my first girlfriend!)
Moved back to the UK in '62.

Rail industry, have lived in Scotland near Glasgow since '85. Married with 2 grown up daughters with three grandsons. (updated October 30 2016)
I drove past the school in 1999 and and even wondered about calling in but was dismayed to discover it no longer exists. the buildings are still there but i think it was now some kind of special school for kids with disabilities, though that might be incorrect. I wonder where the kids round there go to school now?
