Bob's Story

Life After High School I went into the Navy and ended up in the Submarine Service. Let me tell you it was no adventure. Very boring and very little sleep. I am blessed with two children that are are now grown up. Yes we are that old. School I was very shy. Okay, not everyone might believe that but it's the truth. If I didn't talk to a girl most likely it was because I liked her. Thank God I've changed! To me school was the best place to sleep. College I just completed my MBA. I also have a Bachelors degree in Vocational Education. Associates degree in Computer Science. About 2 more classes to a degree in Software Engineering. I also have a certificate in Internet Security. Workplace After high school I went into the Navy (submarine service). ries. After the Navy I took a job in a training department teaching process control instrumentation and computer systems. Next came an engineering job at Honeywell as the technical expert for Data Acquisition and Control Systems. Next came a position as the Manager of the IT department at where I work. And last but not least, I am now the manager of Process Contol and Automation. Military I spent a little over 10 years in the Navy, specifically the submarine service. I received my dolphins, two good conduct awards, a Navy Achievement Medal, and Master Training Specialist. I was on 4 strategic deterent patrols on board two different Ballistic Missile Submarines the USS Lafayette SSBN 616, and the USS Andrew Jackson SSBN 619. I also had a tour on one Submarine tender, the USS Canopus AS-34. I also taught for five years in the Navy teaching weapons systems and weapons.
