Bob's Story
Life
I am a deacon and am serving in a small country parish, Ascension, in the diocese of Columbus, Ohio. I am now retired after working as a research administrator at the University of Missouri, Penn State, and Ohio State. Since leaving Holy Cross I've studied at St Louis University and the University of Missouri. I learned to play the guitar from Dave Payne at the Seminary and have been involved in liturgical music ever since. I got married in 1972 to Patty, and we have a son and three daughters. I deeply value my years at Holy Cross. ...Expand for more
I still have dreams of being there with all my friends and classmates. Of course, everyone is just as I remember them - young and enthusiastic. I remember too our wonderful teachers and counselors. I was never a great student back then, but they taught me a lot more than you could ever learn from books. For any hurt I may have caused any of my teachers and classmates, I am sorry; for all the good things you all did for me, my heartfelt thanks and blessings. For all the love I experienced there, I continue to share it with everyone I meet.
