Bob's Story
After graduation, I stayed in Port Richey for two years working in the travel industry and taking some classes at PHCC. I transfered to the University of Houston and the Hilton College of Hotel & Restaurant Management in 1986. After completing school, I joined Hyatt Hotels & Resorts and lived in Atlanta, Chicago, Orlando, Coral Gables and finally Boston. Chicago Global sales Office and, after 7 years there, I joined the Dallas Convention & Vistors Bureau and ran their sales efforts in the Midwest. While in Chicago, I met my partner Dan and we have been together for 11 years. In 2007 Dan and I moved to Seattle. I work for a company called ConferenceDirect and I am part of the team that is contracted to do site selection and venue negotiations for Microsoft's major events.
