Bob's Story
Life. Come quite a way from owning Krishna Head Shop in Pensacola 1968/9.
Retired in 2005 from 36 years in Banking. Taking time to play golf and do research into early Base Ball in Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess & Putnam Counties circa 1860-1900. I'm a member of SABR and on their 19th Century Baseball, Negro League and Minor League Committees. Also a collector and dealer in vintage baseball memorabilia particularly vintage gloves, bats, photos and trophies. I have had a number of articles published in Baseball Journals and often give presentations on early baseball to Historical Societies, Libraries and Civic Groups. perstown, and to the annual Negro League Conference in Virginia on Black Barnstorming in NY pre-1900. Somehow I just found out about the first African American Golf & Country Club in Westchester, and am writing an article about it. On the Board of Directors of Middletown (NY) Historical Society, and Trustee/Treasurer at the Peekskill (NY) Museum.
Daughter & hubby living in Boca Raton, Florida with three grandchildren. She's running in road races,plays tennis for her community team, and is Executive Director of Touch a Heart Foundation which helps out families in need. Son in Manhattan working for SafeCloud, a music app.. Wife Adelyn is a homemaker, history buff and quilter.
