I obtained BA and MA degrees from the University of Waterloo. Some may remember I played basketball at Thorold. I also played at UW and I had a Hall of Fame basketball career (use Google to check out: "Waterloo Hall of Fame Pando")

a career in municipal planning and was the first Planning Commissioner for the City of Cambridge. I then had a 25 year career teaching at Mohawk College where I also became the president of the OPSEU faculty local there. My activity in the College system's pension plan resulted in me becoming Chair of the Plan's Sponsors' Committee and influencing change to benefit all college system retirees.
