Bob's Story
Life
While living in the Falls I attended St Pauls Methodist Church and was active in the MYF and I was a Cub and Boy Scout with the unit sponsered by St Pauls. I lived at the corner of Walnut Ave and 13th Street right across the street from the old High School and South Junior High School. For 2 years I attended Trott Vocational before transferring. m the Air Force in Sept 68 I worked for Hooker Chemicals as a Medical Guard. In January 69 I enlisted in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman serving at Philadelphia Navy Hospital and with the 3rd Marines at Camp Pendleton CA, 12th Marines in Okinawa the 7th Marines at Camp Pendleton,also stationed at NAS Miramar, and NAS Cubi Point in the Philippines. Naval Training Station Orlando FL. Assigned to VS-22 at NAS Cecil Field deploying aboard the USS Saratoga and USS John F. Kennedy with that squadron. Also served at NAS Pensacola FL finally retiring from the Navy on New Years Eve 88 at the Marine Air Wing at MCAS Cherry Point
After retiring in 88 I worked for various clinics and doctors in Pensacola FL moving to Panama City in 2000 for a job opportunity, but now I work at a Mental Health Facility and I love it.
I have never been married nor do I have any children
