Bob's Story

Workplace Retired from the construction/real estate development business. Married 45 years., 3 kids and 7 grand kids. Moved to Lake Tahoe April 2015 after 34 years in the same home in Morgan Hill, Ca. Love fast boats, golf, travel and Giants baseball. Not so good at Golf but did a hole in one on # 8 at the Phoenician in Scottsdale while at our annual Spring Training week. Closed down the office June 1, 2015. It's was a really good ride. Made Tahoe our permanent home until I could not stand another second of California politics and taxes. We moved across the border into Nevada. 5 of my 6 siblings are still alive and doing well. Bonnie passed, unexpectedly, in July 2015. My Mom passed in 2011 and...Expand for more
my Dad passed in June 2016 at age of 93. Also spent about 16 years coaching girl's and women's' softball teams at Live Oak High School, DeAnza College and summer traveling teams. It was great fun but happy to have moved on. We now enjoy the summers traveling and at Tahoe and around the country in the small RV pulling a trailer with the 3 wheeler. 50th reunion was a gas. Was able to spent time with Kathy Foy and Max Leetzow at our home plus enjoy the golf tournament organized by Kenny Haukom. Enjoyed seeing all those folks that got so much older...except TV and Doug Ellsworth who still look the same age and weight. Life is just not always fair. Thanks Jim Magee for heading up the committee.
