Bob's Story
My heart's desire as a little tyke was to get a pony for Christmas so I could grow up to be a cowboy. Inspiration came from radio programs like "Wild Bill Hickock" and "The Lone Ranger." When that little black and white TV blinked to life in the early 50s, Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, and the Cisco Kid galloped into my living room and my imagination, confirming my earlier decision to become a western hero. d the pony. Reluctantly I switched my allegiance from Roy and Gene and Bill and Cisco to Perry Mason and grew up to be a lawyer. Now I'm a Circuit Court Judge. Occasionally, for old times sake, I wear the robe I last saw draping the Honorable Herbert O. Norbeck in juvenile court, fall of 1965 (loss of driver's license for 30 days...completely shanked my social life...it hasn't improved much since then). So that's my story.
