Bobby's Story
Wow! 2016 and what a life! Worked for Braniff airlines right out of high school. They went belly up! Joined the Army and was honorably discharged. Worked in the oil fields. The oil crunch hit and was out of a job again! Worked as a technician for Pitney Bowes for 15 yrs. Was offered a job as a POP site tech for Central and Southwest in "99" and enjoyed being a comm. tech. Till 9-11 hit and got laid off there! Worked as a signal tech on traffic signals and highway lighting ever since. "Something about that rush while being up in the air in a bucket truck with cars flying by!" Must be all those years of riding a motorcycle. Still own several Harleys and ride when I can. Been married twice and have 10 grandchildren. Ran...Expand for more
ging in age from 14yrs. to 4 mos. old. I have been BLESSED to be around to see them all. After having survived stage 3 pancreatic cancer in "08" Funny thing is. I have grown my hair long to donate for wigs for cancer for many yrs. before I ever realized I was going to have to face the big "C" myself. "What irony !" And YES I did lose a step or two after that! I live in the country. In an 1950's farm house with a couple of acres. I enjoy animals and letting the grand kids learn about them and experience them.
